The voting mechanic
You see two cards. You pick one. That’s it. Cards only pair against cards from the same character.
The rating system
Every card has a Glicko-2 style rating: a number around 1500 to start, plus a confidence interval. Each vote nudges both cards based on the result and how settled the system thinks those cards are. New cards move quickly; established cards move more slowly.
